Indeterminate.  80-85 days from transplant.  First mentioned in Seed Saver’s Exchange yearbook in 1998, by George Weiss of North Babylon, NY.  Resists cracking and cat-facing better than other large, black heirlooms, producing blocky-round, 10-14 oz. fruit with dark olive shoulders fading into a very dark, brick red.  Rich, complex flavors made this variety the winner of heirloom tomato taste tests at Cornell University. One of the darkest black tomatoes on the market.
